Aspirin has been around since Hippocrates time and according to Professor Mark Nelson, (Head of General Practice, School of Medicine, University of Tasmania) a key investigator in the ASPREE study, is deservedly called a 'wonder drug'.
Research done by Rothwell et all in the November and December editions of the medical journal, The Lancet, revealed a daily dose of aspirin significantly cut cancer death rates, in some instances by up to 50%.
